A multi-activity center for indoor soccer, floor hockey, concerts and special events

Students have expressed the desire for a more flexible recreation/entertainment space that can be used for a variety of activities. The Rec Center expansion will include a multi-activity center, complete with safety padding on the walls for indoor sports. A recreational gymnasium designed for multi-sport activities can range from 6,000 - 10,000 square feet.

In addition to recreation, the uses for this new space could also include medium-scale concerts, film showings, career fairs or club events. It is also planned to install a state-of-the-art sound system to accommodate a variety of entertainment..
